This is the first of the "bookshots" that I have read and this one was not a good start of them for me.
It started out fine. Story seemed interesting enough but somewhere along the line it just got silly to me. There were some feeble attempts at suspense that really didn't work for me. There was no

flow and it seemed to jump all over the place.
And am I the only one that is bothered by this whole plot? I get the part where we are out to avenge the death of Molly's son, Alex. But the whole bank robbing and horse ranch stealing seemed way too far fetched to have the outcome it did. And you need money to save your home, but are perfectly ok stealing it from other people and terrorizing innocent people? For me, the end does not justify the means.
I am hoping the other books of this type are not as awful as this one was.

Molly Rourke’s son, Alex, is dead. But she knows who killed him . . . and no one should ever underestimate the lengths to which a mother will go in search of revenge for the murder of her child.

As with all BookShot stories, the action ramps up from the very first page. Readers will need a hefty

dose of suspension of disbelief to navigate some of the unexpected plot twists in this fast-moving tale.

I liked this bookshot from James Patterson and Max DiLallo. It was about the death of a woman's son and her path to get justice for his death, working with her brothers. The bookshot was short but filled with a lot of action and suspense. Recommended read.

Such an interesting story about a grieving mother who decides to commit some robberies in an attempt to save her farm and bring justice for her son's death.

Heard about James Patterson's "Book Shots" series and gave this title a quick read. Hi-lo reading for adults. I found the plot-twist reveal awkwardly done but otherwise appreciate the targeted appeal and intent of the series.

I love these Bookshots, which can be read in one sitting. This one starts with a mother, Molly, being called to the high school where her son has collapsed after taking drugs. On top of this, the family farm is in trouble of foreclosure. Molly comes up with a plan, but can she make it work?

Fast-paced, quick read, not as great as it could be, but still an enjoyable read.

This is my first Bookshots book by James Patterson, and I loved it!

This was a good, well-written, action packed story that had a few twists with a great ending.
