Description
A story by the creator of Tintin and featuring the humorous characters, Quick and Flupke, who made their first appearance in 1930. Rarely attacking authority head-on, the generally well-meaning pair nevertheless unwittingly cause disasters.

I hope that one day even the cheap paperback versions of the Quick and Flupke collections will become valuable so I can sell them because really there is no other reason to own them. No reason other than the suburb ligne claire art and the excellent job the publishers did of colourising the panels
Boring and brief strips detailing the misadventures of a pair of Brussels street urchins, I suspect the artist was not too enamoured of the series himself because they lasted only ten years, and 12 volumes of the English translation were not released until between 1985 and 1991.
The strips were obviously designed for young children and its possible that the humour has dated badly - plus I was far too old when I first read them. Whatever. Meanwhile, I'm wondering if it's worth sparing the books shelf space.
