Alfie Gets in First tells the story of Alfie, who likes to be first. All day, he comes in first before his mom and his sister. He even gets into the house before they do. Unfortunately, he locks himself inside the house and doesn't know how to let his mom in. With the encouragement of his mom and
Show More
neighbors, Alfie eventually is able to unlock the door without any help. I thought this book was really well written and it shows how children can solve problems on their own.
