Tiddler the fish is always telling tall tales about why he is late for school, but when he is actually caught in a net and taken far from home, it is his stories that help him find his way back.

Fairly innocuous retelling of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." Children who are especially interested in fish and the ocean (or who have just seen "Finding Nemo") will probably especially appreciate pooring over the detailed illustrations. There's nothing special or terribly unique in the narrative,

I loved this book, the illustrations were very colorful. Very imaginative story of a fish. I think this would be great for all children and fun for adults to read aloud. This book promotes storytelling, because without it the little fish may have never made it back to school. It shows how stories

are passed from fish to fish. Very cute book I would recommend to everyone. Show Less

My sons and I are huge fans of the Donaldson/Shaefller books.
The prose in Tiddler is beautifully structured. I find the best kids books have a real rhythm to them and these increase the enjoyment level of both the adults and kids.
The beautiful artwork will engage even the smallest child,(mine
A good choice for bedtime.
