The first thing in the book explains how the world came to be. It also explains how Hindus worship and what they believe in. The book also has stories much like the stories in the bible that teach moral lessons to kids. It also explains holidays such as the festival of Holi that marks the end of

winter and welcomes in the spring. Also in this book is the story of Rama and Sita. In the book is the shortened version of a long poem called the Ramayana composed some 5,000 years ago and it is a classic children’s story in India. This book is a great resource to teach children more about Hindu. I had never learned about it before and found it very interesting to learn more about this religion.
