diverse picture book (colors / toddler/preschool ages 2-6)
* Book prominently features diverse characters: yes, the main characters belong to a dark-skinned family of Latinx descent. The text is mostly in English, but introduces colors and illustrated terms in Spanish (which are also defined in a

glossary at the back).
* Book would work for a toddler/preschool storytime. The text is nice and short, and the identification of the colors invites audience participation. Teachers/readers might struggle a bit with the Spanish pronunciation of the words, and there is no pronunciation guide, but thankfully there are no double-r words for me to fail to roll.
* Book works well with the "colors" theme.
