safe and secure. This book should be a staple in libraries, and in child resource centers, or anyplace that needs to place a child with their grandparent. I spend quite a bit of time living with my grams in between base transfers, so maybe I feel this book more than other will, but I don’t care. I loved this story. Show Less

was a child, my grandmother was my rock. She always found a light in the darkness.This book holds a special place in my heart. I also had a grandmother who knew when I was sad. And just as Lilly's grandmother found a way out of the darkness, I too was fortunate to have someone who cared and made the rain feel like sun!
