I'm an experienced knitter but I've never knit socks until my sister turned me on to them. Socktupus has easy to follow instructions, great designs, which feature many different interesting heel designs compared to other books I own. My only regrets are that it doesn't have more men's sock patterns

What a wonderful book on knitting socks. All have complete directions, patterns & color photos of each pair of socks.
There is a section on different yarns as well.
I did not know that socks are knit in pieces.... This book Almost makes me want to learn to knit, just for the beautiful socks!

I haven't tried to knit any from this book but I've knit some free patterns from this designer and I do like them. There wasn't one pattern here I wouldn't try. Definitely going into the buy pile.
