I absolutely ADORE the pictures in this book which just makes you want to get knitting. Wonderful characterfull dolls including the couple on the front (based on the authors), various colourful and beautifully dressed individuals, and Lola the punk with her nose ring and spider pattern
HOWEVER please be aware that you have to knit everything in the round. And although I've knitted umpteen 'flat' dolls, and have adapted other knitting patterns from in the round to flat with no ill-effects, I'm finding this nigh on impossible.
It's very inspirational and I will have another go at it, but I think many British readers will struggle with it.
