TWICE AS HARD works as a financial inspiration just as THE HEART OF A WOMAN did for the education of African Americans in post Reconstruction racist Little Rock.

It early and consistently reinforces the personal need to be great - to love yourself and to love the work you are doing to support your

life goals. "Be in the Room' to keep the momentum going and increase opportunities to fully enjoy a network and mentors.

At the same time, readers will welcome that all the pressure to survive, strive, and excel
in a capitalistic and still racist and sexist society does not take a toll on everyday health.

This book should be a basic Shout Out text for all bosses - black, white, and brown - to establish fairness and a focus on the job to be done rather than on creating more stress for the "only one" and on having to be both Black and American at all times.

The interviews are really empowering.

This book is a well-written and documented non-fiction piece based on the success of Black business owners and professionals. First off, I enjoyed how well done this book is. It consists of just over forty interviews from professional and successful Black leaders and entrepreneurs; each interview

is fascinating and touches on so many topics pertinent today.

I love how this book cracks open the ideal of Black identity and belonging and breaks the stereotypical mold when it comes to who has wealth, who owns/creates/opens a business, and who makes the business world work in general. I enjoyed getting outside the generally white story and learning more.

This book is very inspirational and it really does help you to believe that no matter what you look like, where you come from, or what others think of you, you can achieve your goals and create the life you want to live.
