wonderful illustrations but it is all a little too opulent for me, too well-groomed. I'm not sure what i was expected from others' judgement of the world's best gardens (and many of them are wonderful) but i seem to prefer wild flowers, wild gardens, water gardens, rock gardens, and xeriscaping. So
