place such as Atlantis, Greek legends, such as the Greek war with Troy, .There is some discussion of the Kensington Rune stone--which since my reading on 18 April 1982 of a book, The Kensington Rune Stone, by Theodore C. Blegen, has been of high interest to me. The author tends to think the stone is authentic, in contrast to the Blegen book. The exploring by the Norsemen and the early reaching of North America is discussed at length, The book concludes with the Portuguese finding that India could be reached by sea from the south cape of Africa. All in all, the things discussed are of some interest, though I did not find the topics consistently entrancing. The text of the book concludes: "...so long as their have been men on the earth, the old prophecy of Dr. Faustus has proved true: We to new shores are called every day.".
