Probably not a fine piece of historical biography here, but a fun one nonetheless. It's directed at a younger crowd, and its pace and style are well-suited for the audience. But it has enough meat to it to keep my interest as well.

Too often it flies through the episodes if only to get the whole

story into 200 pages, where I would prefer that they tell fewer episodes and give some more detail to the ones they keep, but really this is a minor complaint. Enough is here to deepen my respect and interest in Mueller, which I think was the point.

This is a wonderful story of faith. A man who always waited for God to provide. This story is about the life, faith, and works of George Muller, a man who on faith alone starts an orphanage.

The boys and I really enjoyed reading about the life of this man of faith.
