Another volume of Ms. Foster's World of series, this book is an illustrated look at world history from 1451 to 1522. I did not find it as enjoyable as Augustus Caesar's World, but I think that's due to the fact that European history in that era is far from enjoyable. The majority of the movers and

shakers of the era come across as scoundrels. And the focus of this volume is on Europe. Unlike, Augustus Caesar's World, very few non-European lands or events are covered. The great Aztec empire of the time is only mentioned in one sentence--the one that says part of its wealth is being sent back to Spain by Cortes. But despite those flaws, it's still a book worth checking out.
