This is young readers book. It is the life story of Martin Luther King, Jr. The story uses simple sentences that utilize appropriate vocabulary. The story is told along with real photograph pictures on the pages. The photographs help to tell the story and the black and white make it so realistic.

The book has a very genuine feel that will entice children to read further. The book is organized in small chapters. This book is good for third through fifth grade students. This book would be great in the classroom to:
-teach the children about MLK
-introduce new readers to longer books
-do a graphic organizer for factual info
-start a unit about equality
