Grief & Loss in the Care System

Grieving is a natural reaction to a major loss. In foster care, grieving can be experienced by everyone involved, from the birth parents, to the child, to the foster parents, and members of the foster family. This course examines the stages of grief, complex grief, and the manifestations of grief and loss in children, birth parents, and foster parents.
