Mami, papi y yo – El regalo de la adopción. La lectura de un cuento sobre el nacimiento incita a una madre a hablar sobre la adopción a su hijo. Para explicar lo que esto significa, lo lleva a un viaje en el tiempo, hasta el origen biológico de su vida. Las dudas y sentimientos que emergen del niño van siendo aclaradas de manera amorosa a lo largo del viaje. Se le muestra que no es adoptado; simplemente fue adoptado un día, y solo es él, simplemente él: alguien que merece incondicional amor y puede otorgarlo al mundo y a su familia de la misma manera.
Es un cuento que habla sobre él, sus dudas inocentes, sus sentimientos y las respuestas que encuentra sobre la adopción, el haber sido adoptado y el amor de su familia.
