This is a heartwarming book encouraging kids to ask if they don't understand things/people. It celebrates people of all abilities. The kids in this book work together to grow plants and ask each other questions along the way. This would be a book good for any child. The more we normalize asking

questions the less people will misunderstand each other. I highly recommend this book. It also is available in Spanish.

United States Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor chose to write this book to help children understand differences are everywhere. If you

are curious, just ask. She had juvenile diabetes and had to prick her finger and take insulin. She felt different and just wanted children to ask if they had questions.

The book includes multiple characters who share their disability stories and how they have special tools that help them. The story includes the reader by asking them a question after each character shares their stories. Not only is the book well put together, the illustrations are amazing! I would

recommend this book to 4th to 7th graders because they need to be accepting of their peers and know that it is okay to ask when in doubt.
