Review: This was a book that moved me. The serious subject matter is presented in a eloquent way. This book also has great illustrations to add to the story. This book was recommended for students age 5-9.
School Use: This book is a great way to introduce the topic of slavery to younger students. A very serious subject that needs to be taught in our schools.
