This is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read, mostly because it's adapted from one of the most beautiful books in the Bible. The pictures are gorgeous. They reflect a variety of cultures and traditions.

This is one of my new favorite books! The book is based off of a Scripture from the book of Ecclesiastes in which everything is said to have its own time and purpose. There are not any overt Christian themes (other than the prologue), so this book is actually appropriate for the classroom. Each

page has a line of Scripture along with an intricate illustration. The illustrations in this book are magnificent. They are fine art pieces with symbolism and meaning and they add richly to the text. The end of the book also has three pages of information about the illustrations.

Beautiful illustrations from many countries and times along with the part of Kohelet that was made into the song, Turn, Turn, Turn. Brief descriptions of the art at the end of the book.

This book quotes Ecclesiastes. It talks about there being a time for everything such as to be born, to die, etc.

This book gently explains how there is a time for everything; life death, laughter, sadness. This is deep book that explores purpose and reaction to misfortunes and difficult periods of life. Through this book, children can prepare for difficult experiences, or learn how to accept the difficulties

This was a very beautiful book and I loved the illustrations. I loved that a common prayer of the Old Testament was paired with pictures from cultures all over the world. The message of time was very powerful and beautiful. Overall, this is a great book that should be shared with children of all

This is a really beautiful book. The text is from Ecclesiastes, chapter 3 (KJV) and the pictures that go with each verse are in a different art style from cultures around the world. At the end of the book is an explanation of the art styles, for those who want more information.

An instant classic with many layers of meaning, this is a favorite book of mine by Leo & Diane Dillon. This is a story, written in paradoxes, about the changes that life undergoes on earth. The illustrations are very detailed and captivating that are just as diverse as the makeup of mankind. The

illustrations include works from every part of the planet earth. There are works from Ireland, Eygypt, Europe, Africa, Thailand, and other nations. I believe that young and old readers will find something to admire about this book. This book was absolutely extraordinary.
