Great book to explain about teeth to young children. Fun examples of how everyone has teeth and what they can be used for. I would highly recommend this book- especially before a dentist trip!

"The Tooth Book" is a classic Dr. Seuss book except in this book he is trying to teach a underlying lesson about oral hygiene. It is a book all about teeth.

This is not my favorite Dr. Seuss book, but it is still cute. I like how this book teaches children all about the importance of caring for

their teeth.

For the classroom, I would get a empty coffee can and put in slips of paper with a food or drink on written on them. I would have students take turns pulling out the slips of paper and say whether or not the food was good for your teeth or bad for their teeth.

This is a really cute Dr. Suess book. It is all about teeth and all different kinds of teeth. It also teaches kids to take care of their teeth or else they will fall out.

This is a great book to teach children to read because of the rhyming words and repetitive text. Children will enjoy the vivid illustrations and silly subject matter. Children will gain confidence by learning to read the simple text in this book.

A classic work by Dr. Seuss writing as Theo. LeSieg, with new illustrations by Joe Mathieu, about who has teeth, who doesn't, and how to keep the ones you have!

A book that I hope everyone has read at one point in their life because it is so amusing, and educational at the same time. This teaches about an important aspect in children's lives, personal hygiene it also makes a normally scary experience not so terrifying. Kids are often afraid of the dentist

but this book makes it seem like a friendly and fun experience by pointing out all the things teeth are good for.

Summary: In this installment of Dr. Seuss it teaches the health, safety, and duties of taking care of your teeth and if you don't, they may fall out. When it comes to your teeth you do not want to play around. You only get 2 set of teeth....your

baby teeth and adult teeth.

Personal Reaction: I love books that address the health and safety of the body. I think when it comes to kiddos, unless they see, watch, or hear of what could happen when you dont take care of your body, they do not believe you.

Extension Ideas: Use one of those body part human models to use while reading this book or any other body part related book. Until the child really understands about it they will not remember or retain it.

This book doesn’t have the same feel as other Dr. Seuss book have. The flow is a lot different. But this book explains a lot about teeth and why they are important. It even explains the teeth in animals. It makes children want to brush their teeth.
