Excellent!!! I had such a blast reading this one and afterwards had a lot of fun watching the animated show on Netflix with my family. I absolutely love this series and will definitely read and watch the rest of this. Both the book and show are pretty close to the same. Very small differences but

totally worth enjoying both.

This book is great and fun to read. There were so many laugh out loud moments in this book. The world is ending, but it doesn't mean you can't make a game of it.

Most of these juvie lit books are either read for work or for Shaun. But not this one. No. This was for me. I am sorry it took me this long to read it. Max Braillier's storytelling prowess mixed with Douglas Holgate's illustrations make this Texas Bluebonnet Award winning book a wild ride. To call

it one part Diary of a Wimpy Kid, one part The Walking Dead is an understatement. This is a apocalyptic beast of another color. It reads like a kids D&D game play. It's witty and funny, full of references that both child and adult will understand.
