"Marine Biology: Queer Sailors #5 is an homage to the sailor. The fifth (!) in the series--it explores the sexuality of sailors as well as the sailor as a homoerotic icon. It includes photographs (B Ws, mostly WWII, some erotica) as well as quotes about sailors and queer desire. This issue contains lots of "found" sailor items that have been sent to me as well as other sailor info I have come across in my research. It also plays with Library of Congress subject headings thinking about what research about sailors entails."
