This was a cute picturebook about a little boy afraid of the dark but constantly told his friend is dog was afraid. The little girl suggests that he hug his dog so it would not be scared. Which he does and they both fall asleep in the boys bed.
Personal Reaction:
It is important to listen to friends,
Classroom Extensions Ideas:
1. This would be a good book to read to students and let them express some of their fears and things that helped them overcome the fear.
2. It is and early reader so have a small group students take turns reading a page aloud.
