This is a great book for children Kindergarten to Fourth grade. It teaches children to help their friends when they need it, like Arthur's friends helped him when he couldn't find anyone to play the role of the turkey. A great book to read during Thanksgiving.

This was a great book. Arthur got selected to direct the annual thanksgiving play. He begins assigning parts to all of his friends, but of course none of them want the part he gives them. No one wants to be the turkey, so finally Arthur rents a real turkey for the play. This was a disaster during

Arthur is elected to direct the Thanksgiving class play. However, it becomes a difficult task because no one will volunteer to play the role of the turkey. Therefore, at the last minute he is forced to play the part himself.

Authur is chosen to be the director of the school play, at first he enjoyed the role, all of his friends gave him special treats to bribe him into letting them play their favorite part. He had trouble getting someone to play the role of the turkey, everyone thought the role of the turkey was

It is Arthurs job to direct the Thanksgiving play this year at school but he is having a hard time since all his friends want the "star" part in the play and no one wants the play the role of the turkey. Arthur finds a solution and he figures out how to handle those kinds of situations. All his

The eighth Arthur book. Arthur is put in charge of the Thanksgiving play. Arthur's friends are extra nice to him, to be sure they get the parts they want. This is nice, until Arthur realizes that nobody wants to play the turkey--and he can't have a play called The Big Turkey Hunt without a turkey!

I was expecting a lesson about leadership, or standing up to your friends, or something, but in the end Arthur just plays the turkey himself, and his friends are kind enough to join him in his embarrassment. Disappointing. Another average book.
