Personal Reaction: I think this book is greatly illustrated and the butterflies are presented very well in this book. This book would be great in a class library especially when introducing animals and science.

Classroom extension: I would have each student draw and color a picture of a butterfly and name their picture and the class will make a butterfly book for the class library. I would also get a live butterfly garden for the classroom so the students can see the whole process in the stages of a butterfly life.
