This was a great book, it combined a good story, interesting information about attributes of different animals and kites, and usable instructions. An excellent title, and it makes one interested to learn more about Chinese culture and Buddhism too.

I would recommend this title to teachers who are showing their kids how to make kites, teaching about China, Chinese culture and holidays, or animals in different cultures. LIbrarians could use this in kite-making programs, Chinese themed displays or programming, or programming related to religions around the world.… (more)
