Danny is really small for his age but like his father, who lead his Middletown travel team to victory in the nationals and continued successes finally becoming an NBA rookie, he is really good at basketball. Now, the adults in charge of the travel team tryouts have decided the team needs to be
Show More
bigger and have cut him. Danny's father is estranged from his wife and child. He is bitter from a car accident which ended his career in his rookie year but he comes back to put together a team so that his son can play travel basketball this year. This is not only a good sports book but a good book about relationships and it has really strong female characters including one who makes the travel team.

I am a huge basketball fan so I thought this book would be good... I was right. A boy named Danny is 4 foot 6 and loves the game basketball. He tries out for a travel team, but he gets rejected. But that won't stop danny playing the game he loves. This book is good for people who love hard work.

Danny is cut from travel bastketball because the coach feels the team should be taller. Danny may be short, but he can play. Danny's father, a local legend, decides to form a second team of the kids who were cut.

I read this upon my 12-year olds insistance. It is a predictable feel-good story about overcoming a series of obstacles and learning to be a leader. For a young adults it is an excellent read, I am sure.

The novel chronicles the life of Danny Walker and his dreams to make his neighborhood's basketball travel team, but when he fails to make the team he creates his own and competes in the basketball tournament. This book taught me to never give up even if the odds are stacked up against me. Although

it could be boring at times, this was a fantastic book.

Travel Team is a great summer book to read when you have nothing to do. Travel Team is suprising some what sad and funny . The main charcter nis Danny Walker and his father Richie Walker. If you like sports and you like to laugh at jokes heres the book for you.

Danny is really fast, he loves basketball, and he is good at it. In basketball they dont want speed though, they want tall people and thats something Danny isn't. So how does his dad help him out? read the book and find out!

This book is Realistic fiction
This book is about a kid named Danny and he is a finatic on basketball. This year when Danny tries out for the team he doesn't make it because he is small compared to the other kids on his team. His dad gets angry about it so he starts his own team, but
Show More
once he gets in a car accident he is out for coaching the rest of the season. This book was rteally boring at first but got a little interesting and then just got boring for the rest of the book I would not reccomend this book.

This was a good book that showed the will power of a short kid that wanted to play basketball even though people said he couldn't.

This book is one of my least favorite books that i have ever read . This kid trys to make the basketball team but the promblem is that he is so short that he cant make the team. So the main reasonm i droped this book is that i thought it got a little dry in the middle of the book. I hope that when
Show More
you pick up this book you will have a better eperience that me.
