Irish Fairy tales & legends is a collection of different folk tales collected and edited by Una Leavy and Susan Field. The tales teach different lessons and morals to the children whom they are read to and at the time would have told to.
I find the tales interesting though some of the names are

difficult to pronounce because they are traditional Celtic names. they are more in depth then a fable but are still kept short. I enjoyed reading them, i was particularly interested because i have Irish background.
These stories would be good to read to students like any fable would be, and could be used to teach morals and relate to their own lives.
