of the plot keeps everyone interested. In “The Peculiar Pumpkin Thief” Geronimo gets into all kinds of trouble, but saves the day in the end. An unlikely hero, he seems to find the way to the solution with his brains and a few good friends. Geronimo Stilton’s books are a great start to chapter books for young children with the exciting changes in text color and illustrations on most of the pages.
