Jack and Annie the sword of light and answered the sea serpents question. Jack and Annie turn into seals and found the sword of light. I liked the book because I would recommend it to people who like adventure and magic.

This book is about jack and Annie going on another adventure this time in the summer solace. They find a note in there previously lost magic tree house. The note said to retrieve the sword of light before the Sun goes down or the king will meet his end. So they go on there journey and find many things to out match. Thought something’s seemed a little scary but when you get to know them there are all right. They also got a little help from their friends when things got a little tough and helped them out of many situations. After they got to the sword of light they had to answer a question from the Giant Serpent that guarded it form the unworthy. They got the sword and used it to find their way back home just before the sun set.

I picked this book up expecting to feel brain cells dying as I read it. I was very wrong; I can see why my students enjoy this series so much. It's very well written (albeit extremely simplistic) and interesting. It was an extremely quick read and is educational, to boot!
