Any child that's even been in a museum will be able to relate to this Zack file, about how Zack gets trapped in a museum at night. He goes to the museum of natural history with his class, and gets lost after going to the bathroom. After the museum closes, he finds out that the exhibits come alive

on full moons! Zack ends up making friends with some Neanderthals, who he introduces to vending machines, and has to avoid a scary professor and a herd of stampeding woolly mammoths before he ends up escaping!

This story is an enjoyable one, in many parts because of Zack's stream of conscious way of thinking. His thoughts really seem to mirror that of the average fifth grader, as he wonders about what kind of job it is creating stuffed displays for museums, or where different things come from. His experiences will certainly appeal to the fifth grade imagination, as getting trapped in a natural history museum WOULD be entertaining! Overall, this book is a good addition to the easy reader genre, and will be enjoyed by those that peruse it.
