This is a book that tries to do way too much. Ostensibly an overview of Boadicea and her revolt against the Romans, there is an explanation of druidism, and the nature of Celtic culture. I'm not suggesting this is inappropriate in a book longer than 45 pages that is also full of illustrations, but the revolt and Boadicea definitely get shortchanged.
