I love this book. I would use this with my future students because it was written in eleven different languages. Young minds love new, unfamiliar things.

Charming verses, good for multicultural awareness. I especially liked the the verse with the Japanese words:

*A Hikoka in a Hikoki*

Whenever someone asks me what I want to be,
I answer a hikoka in a hikoki:
A pilot in an airplane -- brave, alone, and free.
Unless, of course, I chanced to meet another

kid, and she
Whenever someone asked her what she would like to be,
Answered a hikoka in a hikoki.
In which case -- oh, what fun! -- she could fly the plane with me.
