My feelings were Not Allowed in the home when I was a child. So this book was really helpful to me as an adult. Very basic and direct. It helped me to think of my emotions in a different way. Actually, it just helped me to think of my emotions.

This is a very helpful book for girls in many differnet areas of there lives. I recommend this one completely.

An extension of this book would be to have group discussions about the different subjects that the book covers or to have the girls read and then to journal their feelings.
