A Native American feast by Lucille Recht Penner
This audio book is also available in print with color photos.
What I like about this book is not only the story of how the Indians used different foods in their diet but it has recipes that you can make using the foods of today.
So many interesting
Love the scenes of New England with a pit in the ground and layers of seaweed over the seafood to steam it for hours-like how today we make the clamboil..
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
