This is a retelling of the classic Jack and the Beanstalk. This colorful rendition will take children on a journey alongside Jack as he finds himself in a magical world filled with a golden-egg laying goose, a magic harp, and a fearsome giant.

This book was a refreshing take on an old classic.

would use this book as an anytime book. I think that it would especially be good to read just before nap time. Also, when in our plant module, we could read this story and then plant our own "magical beans."

A new version of Jack and the Beanstalk, but with the old base still there. The illustrations with the beans and the people give this classic an updated fun flare. The giant still chases Jack down the beanstalk, but instead of chopping the stalk down he uses a rope to catapult the giant into space.
