Description

This stunningly visual, handsomely produced book contains the lives of the world's most fascinating princesses, including: Mary, Elizabeth I, Marie Antoniette, Victoria, Anastasia, Ka'iulani of Hawai'i, Gayatri Devi of India, and sisters Elizabeth II and Margaret Rose. Portraits of each princess are complemented with photographs of their possessions and period artifacts. Beyond the glamorous details of royal life are the personal stories -- from family troubles to dramatic, often tragic events of war and intrigue. This is a wonderfully appealing book for fans of Anastasia's Album: The Last Tsar's Youngest Daughter Tells Her Own Story and the Royal Diaries series.--

A beautifully illustrated book to satisfy the demand for information on princesses.

This was a nice little snippet of the lives of a very select few royals. This would be a good book for quick reference, but I wouldn't use it for much more than that as the biographies are exceedingly brief overview. Beautiful illustration, too.
