This book is full of little short poems about dogs. For example, one poem was about how a dogs wet nose is better than any alarm clock.

I thought this book was excelent. The poems were exactly how I feel about my dogs and I really liked how they were short and straight to the point.

I would use

this book in my classroom in the library and as a read aloud. I can invove my students with these poems. I can ask them questions about the poem. It would be helpful if you were doing poetry they had different types of poetry through out the book and if you were doing dogs.

This collection of poems tells a story of a little girl and her Little Dog and the different things they experience throughout the day. Each simple poem shares an experience they have from the start of the day to the end.

I though this book was very cute and is great to have children read to you. Not only is it interesting because it is about dogs but it is easy for them to read. Plus, with each poem they can look at the picture and try and guess what the poem might be about.

This book has 30 short poems about a young terrier. Children can not only learn about poetry as well as dogs. Cute engaging book.

Nice way to see how dogs live day-to-day and what they go through. All in poetic form of course.

This set of poems is great for first grade because the poems are easy to understand. They are short, cute poems about dogs. It would be a good book to open a poetry lesson on for young children because children usually love dogs and this would get them excited about poetry. This poems also have

This book had a different poem on each page that talked about the dog. It provided a variation of what a poem can be about and also the different type of poems.

I don't even like dogs, but omg I love this book. ?áLittle Dog and the little girl love each other so much, and understand each other so well, the book just glows with joy, and sends warm fuzzies to my heart. ?áMost poems are very short, almost like haikus. ?áSome are concrete, that is,

dependent on typography. ?áSome are dependent on the accompanying illustration. ?áThe simple watercolor (?) pictures support but don't overwhelm the text. ?áI can't quote much, because the book is so very short, but I do want you to read this, so consider:
