Dreams--those of the night and those of the future--are the theme of this peaceful book. Peaceful in a lullaby sort of way, and in the dreaming of peace in our world sort of way. What a wonderful way to place these two ideas side by side. My favorite: "daydreaming--/another way/of brainstorming."

Once again, this book was only captivating because of all the colorful pictures. The poems were not all that amusing. However, I do like the small touch of history.

There are some very sweet and sleepy poems in this book. They are all very relaxing and almost put me to sleep! I like how the book has the Spanish version and the English version. That is a great teaching tool. For little ones, they could learn how to say a simple poem in Spanish and impress their

parents at bedtime. It gives children something to compare their poems and lifestyle to.

Especially for children. The protagonist of the story is about boy and his thoughts above the things around him affecting the way he lives. The message is to unite all mankind together on the one Earth we all inhabit to live in peace forever.

This book is a collection of poems that are written in both Spanish and English. The poems are side by side so they would be great for ESL students to read to practice their English.

This book is very well put together. The reader is able to see the poems side by side in English and Spanish. The

A bilingual collection of poems that touch on both American and Mexican culture, Poems to Dream Together celebrates family, community, and nature. With the theme of dreams, these poems would be great for students that enjoy poetry, and good read-alouds for students who are still hesitant about it.

ESL students would also benefit from the English and Spanish side to side.
