early New Englanders start making money of their own. This book is interesteing and engaging. The illustrations are bold and entertaining. I like the way this book tracks the cod as a part of world history. I believe this is a must read for children 8 and older.

I loved this book. I learned so much. If you read Salt, then this makes perfect sense as a follow-up. Great book.
