Angelina, a small mouse, is having a birthday party for her and all of her friends. On her way to pick out decorations she damages her bike and is devastated. Throughout the book she works very hard to earn the money for a new bike but it is too expensive. In the end she ends up getting a new bike

for her birthday because everyone saw how hard she was working to get one. This is a great book to teach children that if you work hard at something it can easily have a happy ending. I would recommend this book to all elementary ages.

Angelina's Birthday is about a little girl who wants a brand new bike after hers broke.

I liked the book because it shows that hard work pays off. I would use this in my classroom to teach my students about responsibility.

The grade I would use this for would be 1st-2nd. The theme is that it's

important to learn about responsibility and really earn everything that you want.
