rebuild their camp. A number of questions are answered as things progress. Will Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight forgive each other and get back together? Will Leafpool's prophecy about "blood killing blood and the lake running with blood" come to pass? Will Brambleclaw's secret dream meetings with his brother Hawkfrost and father Tigerstar lead to anything? Will Brambleclaw succumb to the call of power or will he remain loyal to his clan? Will Hawkfrost manipulate the clans into war? What about Mothwing and her inability to communicate with Starclan?

The majority of this book deals with Brambleclaw's story as well as Leafpool's prophecy. Overall it is an engaging book and a page turner. There is again less action in this book, although it ties up the majority of the major plot points well. I was very frustrated with the anti-climatic way the book ended, I mean they spent 3-4 books foreshadowing the horrors to come with Leafpool's horrible prophecy, and I found the ending to be a bit of a let down. That's all I will say about that in an effort to avoid spoilers.

The book is left somewhat open ended with regards to Tigerstar and the general plans of Thunder Clan. Obviously these story-lines are picked up in the next Warriors series called The Power of Three.

I will not be reading anymore of these series, as I did not find them to be all that interesting and found the laborious way the plot dragged on to be frustrating. I really think that all six of these books could have easily been made into 1-3 books with a more interesting and condensed plotline. Lovers of cats may like the series anyway; although as mentioned in my last review on book 5 of this series, I thought many of the cats' actions were very uncatlike. A much better book about adventuring cats is Tad Williams Tailchaser's Song. Tailchasher's Song takes you on an epic adventure with a cat who faces the ultimate in kitty evil; and it is a great story with a fast-paced plot in one book.

a vicious cat who wants power in the forest. Though he died he wants his sons to follow his paw steps. Brambleclaw only wants to be clan leader after Firestar dies, he does not want to kill him like his father tried for Bluestar the former Thunderclan leader. I would recommend this book to people who like stories of loyalty,friendship, and power.

Part of the new prophecy series of Star Clan- A Clan full of dead cats. I know that sounds pretty wierd, but come on. Who doesn't like a story about dead cats ruling the forest?!

A great installment in the 2nd Warriors series. I was never bored, the pacing was steady and interesting; although the ending had a very rushed feeling. Despite that, it much less predictable than many of the earlier books.

and their families is really well-played in this book; and the glimpses of StarClan and the shadowy forest are especially intriguing and satisfying for those of us interested in the Warriors' world.

Twanypelt, Brambleclaw's sister and Hawkfrost's half-sister, but luckily she refuses and says she'll earn it by being loyal to her clan. Back at The Tribe of Rushing Water, Stormfur and Brook leave without saying why. They travel back to RiverClan, but Hawkfrost gets Stormfur angry and 'encourages' Stormfur to attack him. He does and gets banished, Brambleclaw witnessed all this and takes them to ThunderClan camp where Firestar says to stay as long as they want. Firestar, sadly, finally gives up and tell the clan that he has given up on Graystipe's return and that he'll pick a new deputy, which is Bramblclaw.
Leafpool is having a hard time with the death of Cinderpelt, she blames herself. At the half moon, Leafpool gets greeted in a dream by Spottedleaf. She tells Leafpool that Cinderpelt is reborn as Cinderkit, one of Sorreltail's kits. Leafpool overhears the fight that Mothwing and Hawkfrost had, and it turns out that Hawkforst had planted a moth wing outside Mudfur's den which mad him decide to take Mothwing as his apprentice. Hawkfrost threatens Mothwing to tell everyone if she didn't keep her jaws shut.
Fox traps have been set up all over ThunderClan territory and patrols have told to stay away. But Berrykit ran out of the camp and his tail got caught. Brambleclaw's patrol found him and realized that a ShadowClan patrol was watching Brerrykit suffering, but didn't do anything, which is against warrior code. They hurry him to Leafpool, but she knew that she couldn't do anything and had to get rid of hi tail altogether. Firestar gets caught and when Brambleclaw finds him he also finds Hawkfrost there as well, he was the one who set the trap. Hawkfrost tries to make Brambleclaw forget about Fierstar, let him die, and become the new leader of ThunderClan. But luckly Brambleclaw says no and frees Firestar. Hawkfrost gets mad and attacks Brambleclaw. They fought down by the river, Hawkfrost had Brambleclaw pinned and was about to make a death blow but Brambleclaw grabs the nail that holds the trap together and kills Hawkfrost. Brambleclaw thinks he's going to get banished but Firestar praises him. X3

I liked this one for all the same reasons I liked the other ones. It was exciting and shocking. I (once again) highly recommend that you as well read this book series.

Ending of series 2 in the Warriors series. Some of the story lines are ended but others open up here. The clans are adjusting to their new homes with the usual fights over borders and Two Legs interfering with the clans' lands. Leafpaw is getting many visions. Which are true? Which are hers? The

prophecy comes true. But who is the traitor now? Does Leafpaw confront some of the others or not?

I like this series. I hope my questions get answered in series 3. I think I know the answers to my questions but I want confirmation of those answers. This is a good ending of series 2 and sets up series 3. Excellent world building.
