I enjoy watching the kids "fail" - it's more realistic that way. Of course, their failures always turn out to be exactly what's needed, but oh, well.

Jack and Annie. I was disappointed in this respect, but it was still a good book that dealt with bravery and racism without getting preachy. Show Less
