During the design phase, Sandia, Livermore and Westinghouse entered into an agreement whereby the unit would be tested at the Central Receiver Test Facility near Albuquerque, New Mexico. These tests results are not addressed in this report.

and construction was completed in January, 1979. This report summarizes design and construction activities and describes the resulting heliostat. The specification (Appendix A) for the design is consistent with the specification being used by Department of Energy subcontractors through Sandia Laboratories in Livermore, California.During the design phase, Sandia, Livermore and Westinghouse entered into an agreement whereby the unit would be tested at the Central Receiver Test Facility near Albuquerque, New Mexico. These tests results are not addressed in this report.
