Engineered Materials Company (henceforth abbreviated "Standard Oil"), a business division of the STEMCOR Corporation, is successor to the Carborundum Company. Acknowledgment is gratefully given to the Garrett Auxiliary Power Division of the Garrett Corporation, The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) - Lewis Research Center and The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for their support of this program.

Also, acknowledged are the contributions of current and former employees of Standard Oil Engineered Materials Company and Carborundum, under the guidance of Dr. Roger Storm and Dr. Truett Sweeting.

Significant technical achievements during major portions of the program were realized through the contributions of Frank Frechette, Roger Ohnsorg in injection molding, Don Gerry in machining and design modifications, Ted Casper in slip casting, Dr. M.
