The purpose of this study was to analyze the most recent design of the Boeing enclosed plastic heliostat for cost and compare results with a reference second generation glass heliostat case provided by Sandia National Laboratories, Livermore (SNLL). In addition, sensitivities of busbar energy costs to variations in capital cost (installed cost), operation and maintenance cost and overall reflectivity (pot2) were evaluated. Show Less
