reliably supply electrical power to the utility grid. Data evaluation will be performed for design point and annual plant energy output; heliostat optical performance and mirror module corrosion; receiver tube life and absorber coating life; storage fluid degradation and storage tank thermal stresses; plant availability, operating procedures, and operating costs; and component reliability and maintenance costs. The objective, test needs, data needs, approach. expected output, and planned data dissemination are presented for each evaluation.
