always seems to be at least one step behind George. I liked this book and thought it was a fun book to read to children. The pictures are simple but as the same time in grabbed your attention. One extension idea is that the class can talk about the funny things their pets do. Another idea can be to read the other Curious George books.

This book is great for our curious readers. They will laugh along with George as he sets off for the big city and winds up in the zoo, of course. Children are just as curious as George in their world so they can easily relate to this adventure story.

Curious George is about a monkey who is always so adventurous and getting in trouble. The author writes these books to describe the curious nature of the monkey, and to help the students relate to them. Curious George lives with a man simply known as “the man with the yellow hat,” and George is
