T/FB: 2021 movie #178. 2021. I read "Dune" in my impressionable youth and am gratified that this movie adaptation is pretty good. You might not get it if you haven't read the book but it's easier to follow than the 1984 version. First of 2 parts.

do a really good job of keeping things focused and clear, changing or omitting stuff that has no reason to be there. But it's still a boring story with no characters to care about.(Apr. 2022)
